Solar Eclipse Maestro 1.7.2

Solar Eclipse Maestro is a Universal Binary software that is able to control up to 4 USB/Firewire connected cameras during an eclipse, so that you can be free to concentrate on observing the event visually.

Solar Eclipse Maestro is available in English, but also in French.

Here are some key features of "Solar Eclipse Maestro":

· Google Earth kmz and GPS gpx files - Ability to generate Google Earth kmz and GPS gpx files of the eclipse path and geometry.
· Mouse-over location tracking - The coordinates of the mouse pointer over the eclipse map are now displayed just like in Google Earth. A maximum eclipse diagram at the mouse-over location can also be displayed.
· Google Earth, Google Maps & Planetarium - Ability to view the eclipse path in Google Earth and/or Google Maps. Detailed view of the eclipse sky just like in a planetarium.
· Moon transparency - The Moon used in the eclipse diagram will become transparent during totality to allow the solar disk position to be seen.
· Moon surface - The surface of the Moon is displayed in place of the gray placeholder.
· MMV project - Include pre-built scripts to assist people who wish to contribute to the Mathematical Method of Visualization of Solar Corona project.
· Remote live view - Ability to use live view enabled cameras for focussing from the computer screen.
· Major timers - Display of the major timers in a floating window for readability.
· Night view - Ability to switch to a "night view" mode to preserve your dark adaptation.
· Continent contours and countries borders - Overlay of the continent contours and countries borders on the eclipse map.
· Sky chart - Display of the eclipse sky chart in a floating window.
· Full camera recognition - The name of a camera used in a script can be auto-completed using its serial number for fully automatic recognition. No manual input is necessary.
· Camera simulator - When a DSLR isn???t connected and a script is running, you will hear a shutter sound for each exposure to help you simulate the presence of a camera.
· Lunar limb profile simulation and Baily beads animation - The lunar limb profile from the observer???s location allows to generate an animation of the Baily beads at the second and third contacts.
