RatRace was initially created to help you keep track of the time you spend with as little effort as possible and, ideally to improve your awareness of how and when you spend your time.
RatRace has come about as a result of our own need. To put it lightly we ourselves have been pants-wetting funny awful at making estimates and projections.
On more occasions than we would like to admit we have pulled an all nighter due to the fact that we have based our estimates and projections on how much time we thought it might take; how much time we would have liked it to take; how much time we thought the guy next to us would take; how much little time we thought the boss would like it to take and every other thinkable reason you could imagine.
We found that we needed a tool that would lay down the facts for us and help us take charge of the situation and escape The Rat Race.
Thus, we developed RatRace: a simple time Tracking and estimation application with a strong focus on getting the perspective on things.
RatRace doesn`t pack a plethora of features. On the contrary it does only what it is supposed to do and tries to do that well: to increase your awareness of how and when You spend Your time so You can excell at estimating future projects.
