X3FUtilities is a small software application that offers a Spotlight importer and QuickLook plugin for the X3F RAW image format.
The X3F.mdimporter extracts meta data from X3F image files for use with Spotlight queries. In addition to Apple provided default meta data keys for images, the importer defines custom times as found in the X3F file format.
The X3F.qlgenerator allows for quick previews of embedded JPEG images in X3F image files. The X3F file format is a RAW image format for the Foveon image censor used in several commercially available cameras.
